Pictures of Coyote Gulch and
Escalante National Monument

The giant Stevens Arch (225-foot opening), standing over the Escalante River -- one of only 10 natural spans in the world over 200 feet.

The great Jacob Hamblin Arch in Coyote Gulch, named after an early Mormon leader
who never even saw it.  Notice the person in front of it for scale.

Leaning cliff, bent tree, and waterfall in Coyote Gulch, Escalante National Monument.

Metate Arch, Devil's Garden, Escalante National Monument.
An unusual two-tone arch.  The narrowest part is only about a foot wide, and rounded on top.  We'll see who wants to walk over it....
